Castanet

Castanets refers the wooden clappers typically used by Spanish Flamenco dancers. They are traditionally played in the hand, but can also be found attached to a handle or base for faster playing in different music style settings.

Castanets originally came from Spain. They are made of two small pieces of wood held together by a cord. When they are clapped together, they make a clicking sound
