Maple

Maple is a kind of hardwood recognized for its soft, even, linear grain texture. It is whitish in overall color and takes light- to mid-range finish tones best.

Maple wood is a more quiet wood grain as compared to hickory, which is considered active, however , it is a valued wood because it makes a polished statement.
