Cotton farming

Cotton farming - this industry is comprised of establishments that are primarily engaged in the growing of cotton.

Cotton is the term most commonly used to describe the white downy fibers gown on shrubby plants of the genus Gossypium. These fibers are used to make textiles and other products. Unlike other countries, US cotton is not grown as a perennial, it is grown as an annual crop from seeds planted each year.
