Log

Log (1) Stem, or length of stem, of a tree after felling and Cross-cutting.
(2) To harvest (extract) trees or logs from a forest.

Based on HS and CITES definition , a log refers to all wood in the rough, whether or not stripped of bark or sapwood, or roughly squared, for processing, notably into sawn wood, pulpwood or veneer sheets.
