Aquavit / Akvavit refers to a name applied to various types of distilled spirits in northern Europe. In Germany it may apply to grape brandy. In Denmark it may apply to grain spirits flavored with caraway. In Sweden it may apply to grain spirits flavored with aniseed and dill. This term has various spellings .

Armagnac, or Armagnac (Grape) is kind of wine that has something to do with a brandy distilled in south-western France. The département is precisely divided into three regions, Bas-Armagnac, Haut-Armagnac, and Tenarèze, and these names may be used to further designate the armagnac product.
