Hospitalization
Hospitalization is defined as the condition of being treated as a patient in a hospital and the period of time when a patient is confined to a hospital. It is the act of placing a person in a hospital as a patient and the condition of being hospitalized. It is generally viewed as a last resort after other less restrictive forms of treatment have failed.
