Electrical battery

Electrical battery is described as device that stores energy and makes it available in an electrical form. A battery consists of a combination of cells electrically connected in series. The smallest item making up a battery is called a cell.

Cells are joined together within the battery by soldered or welded contacts and all the cells are all housed in a æjacket? of some kind featuring the manufacturer's name, voltage, etc.
