Antique is a term which can be used to define:

1. Blind tooling
2. Marble pattern , as in antique marble;
3. A form of edge decoration, as in antique edges;
4. Leather finished with an old or natural grain - and
5. A paper with a natural rough surface or finish, as in antique book paper

Example is antique jewelry which was made more than 100 years ago.
