Engineers ball pein hammer is used for striking metal objects. The most frequently used model has a flat face at one end and a ball at the other. With head weights from 1/4 lb to 3lb the engineers hammer is very much the " maid of all work among" hammers and for this reason special care should be taken to ensure that the recommendations with regard to safety are followed.
