Bench hydraulic press is a machine which is driven by an incompressible liquid. The bench hydraulic press mechanics are controlled by fluid pressure. Different varieties of bench hydraulic presses are available. They are used to handle complex industrial production jobs.

Bench hydraulic presses consist of a flat surfaced bed on which the material is placed.Once the material is perfectly positioned, it is pressed between the two plates of the press by hydraulic force. It is use for metalworking operations, such as punching, piercing, forming, staking, marking, riveting, assembling, and other such applications; used in the automobile industry for pressing shafts into water pumps as well as other operations; used by jewelers to produce metal pins; used in the food industry to press frozen foods into desired shapes
