The term cabin may refer to the following: 

  • a small shelter or dwelling, usually simple in construction and/or design and located in a remote and/or wild area
  • a compartment on an airplane designated for passengers and/or cargo
  • an enclosed compartment or private room on a boat or ship
  • Cabin (or cab), an enclosed area on the front of a truck where a driver is seated while driving
  • Cabin cruiser, a type of powerboat with onboard acommodations for the crew
  • Cabin cycle, a land vehicle consisting of a bicycle or motorcycle-type design, with a hull (or cabin) wrapped around it
  • Cabin (also passenger car, capsule, gondola, pod), a compartment for passengers on a Ferris wheel
