Sow

Sow refers to a term use after a female has borne a litter.

In the industrial or business context, "sow" refers to a female pig that has given birth to at least one litter of piglets. Sows are the primary reproductive animals in the pork industry and are typically housed in large groups in specialized facilities called sow farms.
