The term slide may refer to the following:

• a type of geographical feature composed of fixed and settled residue from a landslide that has since stabilized

Split means the underneath layer of side leather which has been "split" off. Devoid of a natural grain, it may be either sueded or pigment finished and embossed.

Spring winding service means providers fabricate springs to specifications supplied by their customers; often providing design assistance.

Sea anchor pertains to a drogue designed to bring a boat to a near stop in heavy weather. Typically a sea anchor is set off of the bow of a boat so that the bow points into the wind and rough waves. Sea anchor does not hook the boat to the bottom, but rather provides drag against drift.

Secondary lead means lead-bearing scrap or lead-bearing materials, other than lead-bearing concentrates derived from a mining operation.
