Biscuit is a term described as unglazed porcelain or earthenware that has been fired only once. Such ware is sometimes erroneously termed bisque in England and the United States.
The term bedding may refer to the following:
- any material, usually organic, used by an animal to support itself while stationary or resting
- a horticultural technique for creating colorful, seasonal displays by temporarily planting fast-growing flowering plants in a flower bed
Bed refers to a device intended to receive the human body in a prone, supine, or sitting position for the purpose of repose, examination, or treatment. This includes devices ordinarily known as beds, examining tables, operating tables, hammocks, cradles, cribs, cots, camp beds, groundmats, sleeping bags, and bed accessories, such as mattresses, pillows, surgical supports, and bed clothing.
The term biomass may refer to the following:
- a term for the total amount of living organisms in a particular habitat
